Avia B-534 IV. series, Bulgarian Air Force, 1943
In summer 1939 Bulgaria bought 78 planes from Germany. 1943 was the year of the biggest fighter operation for Avia, when 48 planes took off against American's Liberators. But in this time Avia was quite obsolete plane and it didn't achieve any shoot down in this mission.

Avia B-534 IV. series, Germany - Luftwaffe, Winter 1943
During WWII Avia in Luftwaffe colors was also used as the plane for towage of troop/cargo glider DFS230 on eastern front for supplying the encircled ground troops. This camouflage was created manually ( using paintbrush ) from normal summer color scheme.

Avia B-534 IV. series, Germany - Luftwaffe, Winter 1943
This winter camouflage looks like the previous one, but it isn't created manually and it has full white background. This isn't a historical camouflage, real planes didn't look like this, but on the model it looks quite interesting, what do you think?

This plane has also special relation for me personally - Avia company is in Prague, where I live.
And Avia B534 was my first plastic kit I built and fully coloured :-)
( oh yes, it's long time ago, more than 20 years ... :-)

This plastic kit is still in the production:
